We should probably explain.

It all started when Glenmorangie (the makers of some very fine Single Malt Scotch Whisky) and Finlay & Co. (the makers of some very fine eyewear) decided to get together and craft something fantastic from something that was already pretty damn fantastic: the American white oak casks that age, over 10 years, one of Glenmorangie's exquisite Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, The Original.

These casks are painstakingly custom-made, from the trees that are hand-selected in the Ozarks to the process of leasing to bourbon distillers to season the wood. Finally, they're brought to Scotland, where they're used just twice—for decade-long spans—to complexly age and flavor Glenmorangie's Single Malt Scotch Whisky. After that, they all float up to woodworking heaven...

Well, not all. A lucky few have been reincarnated through a rigorous 16-step process as limited-edition, one-of-a-kind pieces of Finlay & Co. eyewear, which are now available on UD Perks.

Now, us being us, we've gone ahead and packaged these exclusive shades with a custom-engraved bottle of Glenmorangie Original, as well as two Glenmorangie whisky glasses.
