It happens. One month you’re telling everyone about the secret jazz joint nobody knows about, the one hidden behind the taco joint... that’s accessed only through a washing machine in the adjacent laundry joint.
Next month, you get busy with work and life and whatever, and you lose footing on the jazz-taco-laundromat speakeasy circuit.
Two words: Stay. Vigilant.
Here to help:
Rediscover Your City, a new site from Renaissance Hotels (and UrbanDaddy) that’s all about helping you to... rediscover your city.
Check it out here.
There are two important things that Renaissance is doing for you here. 1)
RLife Live: a far-reaching program of ongoing events wherein you might find yourself at one of their hotels for a concert, a wine tasting or a cocktail class. Cultural stuff. Cool stuff. So you should check out what’s going on at your local hotel and go do that stuff.
Oh, and 2)
this pretty fantastic website. If you’re a Renaissance guest in one of these cities, just pick that city and you’ll find a long list of suggested itineraries beginning just outside Renaissance’s front door. “One Day, Three Glorious Rooftops,” maybe. Or “Bocce, Darts and Putt-Putt.”
So just the essentials, really.
