Once upon a time, “electronic mail” was born.
It let you write little messages and stuff.
It was helpful. Fantastic, even.
Then it grew up and became... this.
Meet
Outlook.com, the personal webmail service that lets you sync with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, file and organize hundreds of emails in seconds and... send emails. You can
sign up for your free account now.
There you go. Kind of a no-brainer, really. You can share things, stay up-to-date on life and generally just be better at email than everyone else, all from the comfort of one clean and slick-looking site.
Right, then. Get in there and get going.
Take a bunch of pictures this weekend and send a ridiculously huge file of them to a friend. (See, this thing won’t jam up their inbox and slow stuff down.) Click the “People Page” and shoot someone a Facebook message. Set up Sweep—an organizational tool—and clean out hundreds of unwanted emails at breakneck speeds.
Oh, and
keep an eye on UD Perks. If you scoop up any of a few select Perks with your new Outlook.com address, you’ll get a bonus Perk on top of it.
Email is the best.
