Don’t look now, but just over the horizon... that’s Thanksgiving. And Christmas. And other holidays that necessitate your getting from here to there while navigating canceled flights, handsy TSA agents and—God love ’em—your own family.

It’s the most magical/thirsty time of year.

And it’s exactly why this exists. This being Cocktail Kits 2 Go, a new salvo in the all-important travel-ready-cocktail field, and one that’ll have you making better-than-usual drinks at 38,000 feet. It’s online now.

In column A, you’ve got the Old Fashioned kit, which includes enough aromatic bitters and sugar cubes (plus a muddler spoon) for two drinks.

And in column B, you’ve got a Classic Daiquiri kit, which contains cane sugar, that same spoon and crystallized lime juice. Because real limes don’t fit inside the tin, see.

Both kits also include a little recipe card, so follow along for optimal success. But here’s something they don’t include: alcohol. You’re on your own for that. Although we’re confident the flight attendant or that quart-size clear plastic bag stowed in your carry-on would be more than happy to accommodate you.

Plastic bags are selfless like that.
