So. La Perla. You know La Perla. They’ve been making barely there things in Italy since the ’50s. Well, now they have a book. A big book. One that pays homage to the craftsmanship and intricacy of it all. One that has a timeline detailing the evolution of lingerie.
One that... has a lot of words you probably won’t read.
Chalk it up to the pictures of half-naked models in there. You’ll find a lot of those. Big glossy ones with corsets and negligees and women who look really good in corsets and negligees.
It’s the kind of thing you’ll want to throw on the coffee table and reference from time to time when you’re in the gift-giving mood.
