| In exactly 45 days, the games of the 30th Olympiad will begin. Sadly, though, you’ll have to sit this one out. Partly because the captain of your synchronized swimming team quit. Partly because you blew out a hammy playing Marco Polo. But mostly because... well, you’re not an Olympian. Still, no one ever said you couldn’t train like one. Light the torch for InsideTracker, a new website that involves analyzing a sample of your blood and then telling you exactly what you need to eat and exactly what you need to do in order to become the most feared athlete in existence, online now. Okay, so we exaggerated just then. A lot. This won’t make you the most feared athlete in existence. But what it will do is evaluate your current fitness habits (weekend curling league), analyze your goals (win your weekend curling league) and give you a science-based plan of action on how to get there (do more... exercise-y things). And yes, Olympic athletes use this thing. Step one: send them a blood sample (they’ll give you a list of clinics nearby). Step two: wait a couple of days for your results to show up online. Step three: browse through an endless list of personalized food recommendations, supplement suggestions and targeted workouts based on specific biomarkers found in your blood. It’s science. It’s okay because it’s science. | | | | | | INVITE | your friends to join UD | | | | | | GET | the UD mobile app | | | | | |
