Start at the nape on the opposite side you want to braid to be and start French braiding over to the other side. If you can't French braid your own hair, no worries! A twist works just as well! Braid or twist all the way across and simply turn it in to one of your three pieces and finish the braid down the side like usual! This will keep your layers in tact! Finish off with a light weight hairspray :)
