Yay!!! Margarita Ball is tonight!! I'm so excited to get all dressed up with T Hubs and some of the besties!! :) we have all been looking forward to this for so long!! I am really exciting about the little girls toys I am donating for the charity too, I think all little girls should have Pretty Pretty Princess growing up :) We are about start getting ready so the pics will be coming shortly after!!

My husband is THE BEST!!!

I have the best husband in the world! He surprised me with an early birthday present, and it is the new iphone 4s!!! I have been wanting it for so long, and he tricked me! Little sneaker! J

I have been so busy the last couple of days, I haven’t had a chance to write!! Stay tuned though, part of my busyness has been research for new styles and looks and I will be posting them very very soon!!

Biting off more than you can chew

I have been having a really stressful week! Our bowling league made up a missed day this week, so I had 2 night of bowling fun after work! I am really behind in my studying, and I want to be out there finding clients to introduce to Medifast!! Life-changing. I have started research on the up-coming record label, and starting churning the wheels of Southern Sass Productions. It seems like one huge mess right now, but I know it will all come together soon enough...stay tuned for a bumpy ride LOVEs :)

Hello dolls!

 

I have been really struggling the past couple of days with the loss of a friendship. A person that used to be my best friend and now we don’t even speak. The worst part is, I don’t even really know what happened… she wasn’t being the best person to me, but Im not really sure why? I don’t know what happened to make her change, or for our friendship to change. I know that since the beginning of our friendship, I have evolved and changed a lot of a person. However, so has she. I know I have changed for the better, but Im not so sure that’s always the case. I would love to keep trying with her but a part of me doesn’t. She hurt me really bad and I don’t know that it can ever go back to the way it was. I wish I could just move on, but I can’t seem to forget about it for too long. Have any of you ever been in this situation? What did/would you do?

Show off your true colors!

When it comes to jewelry, a lot of people use the expression “less is more”. Well, that’s cool if that is who you are but as for me…definitely not who I am!

I prefer to think of my jewelry and accessories as pieces of colorful art, and myself as a canvas; Each stroke and color revealing one more piece of my personality puzzle.

If I wouldn’t topple over, I would wear every single accessory I own at the same time every day. So instead, I get as close as I can ;)

Following trends and knowing what’s hot and what’s not is always good to a certain extent. Just don’t let following trends get in the way of expressing who YOU are.

Fool-Proof Side Braid!

Love the effortless side braid, but have too many layers for it to look well put together?? Try this trick!
Start at the nape on the opposite side you want to braid to be and start French braiding over to the other side. If you can't French braid your own hair, no worries! A twist works just as well! Braid or twist all the way across and simply turn it in to one of your three pieces and finish the braid down the side like usual! This will keep your layers in tact! Finish off with a light weight hairspray :)
