Special, limited-release beers began to see alcohol contents in the 30s, 40s and 50s, as breweries—particularly Scotland-based BrewDog and Germany's Schorschbrau—worked to one-up each other. One such beer was even packaged in a taxidermic squirrel... It seemed like things might stop there. At least for the sake of the squirrels.
